We have many whitetail deer and it is not unusual to see 10-20 deer under your tree stand or outside of your ground blind.  We specialize in getting the 1st time bow hunter his or her 1st shot at a great deer.  It is especially fun to help a youth hunter get their first shot.  It may not be a 150 class buck, although they are here, but we do guarantee you a great shot.

Child Ages: Under 16

2006 season dates: Sept. 1, 2006, (noon) - Jan. 7, 2007. Licenses available from the department, Instant Licensing by Telephone, and county auditors and their license vendors. More about how to obtain licenses.

Resident licenses required: Fishing, Hunting and Furbearer Certificate, $1; General Game and Habitat License, $13, or a Combination License, $32 (includes Small Game, General Game and Habitat, Furbearer, and Fishing licenses); Deer Bow License, $20/$10 for youth under age 16.

Nonresident licenses required: Nonresident Fishing, Hunting and Furbearer Certificate, $2; General Game and Habitat License, $13; Nonresident Deer Bow License, $200 (two types available):

• Any deer: allows taking either mule or white-tailed deer (Sold out for 2006).
• White-tailed deer: the number of licenses is unlimited.
