About Us

We farm and ranch with our son Josh and his family.  We have about 1800 acres of cropland and run about 200 head of cattle.  The crops we grow include wheat, barley, canola, sunflowers, peas, oats, corn, and alfalfa.  Our calving season is from March 1st through April 31st.

Our farm is peaceful and quiet with wide open spaces to see and experience. You may enjoy spending some quiet nights viewing the stars while sitting around a campfire and listening to the coyotes howl. Or watch the satellites streak across the star filled skies.  If the timing is right, you may view what we call the spectacular "Northern Lights" also known as the Aurora Borealis.

The beautiful blaze of these lights are caused when material thrown off the surface of the sun collides with the atmosphere of the Earth.  A spectacular view that is so much more visible when seen from the open prairies with no city lights to interfere.
